Tues, Sep 16 from 11-1 pm: Intro to Forest Bathing with Jess at the State Botanical Gardens (2450 S Milledge Ave). Let's ditch our devices for a bit and play in the woods! The class will start with a brief introduction to Forest Bathing (what it is, the benefits, etc) Next, we'll ease in to a 1.5-hour Forest Bathing experience, which will include sensory invitations, group and partner activities, and space to share your experiences with the group, if desired. We will wrap up by sharing tea and a small snack in the forest. ALL activities are invitational, with the hope that each participant will modify the activity in a way that works for them, when needed. Water-resistant pads for sitting on the ground in the forest will be provided. Bring your water bottle and wear clothing you'll be comfortable moving around in outside. If any attendees have mobility differences and/or food allergies or restrictions, please let Jess know ahead of time so plans can be adjusted to make class as inclusive as possible. Ages 13 and up. Tues, Sep 30 at 6 pm: Astrology 101; Natal Chart Reading for Beginners with Nat at ACC Library (2025 Baxter St). Attendees should bring a natal chart, either digitally or printed out, or be prepared to make one during the class. Please wear a mask if you have been exposed to someone who has been sick!
